06/04/2010 - 2nd IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies - Call for Papers
The world is concerned with depletion and rising cost of non-renewable energy resources, energy security, its access, and environmental impacts of energy usage. At the same time, with distributed and clean energy resources becoming widespread there is an increased worldwide attention towards Smart Grids which enable the connection of these resources while maintaining the power system efficiency, reliability and security. As significant research works being conducted in these areas, it is timely to launch the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies in 2010.
This is the second conference of a regular series of international biennial conferences being planned to bring together professionals and executives in the energy sector, electrical power companies, manufacturing industries, research institutes and educational bodies to share and exchange ideas and information pertaining to sustainable energy technologies.
Authors are invited to submit an extended digest of no more than 4 pages in one or more of the technical areas identified below.
The Proceedings of the conference will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed by EI. Approximately 20% of the conference papers will be selected to be considered for the publication in the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.
Original contributions are now sought in the following areas, including but not limited to:
- New Devices and Circuits for Energy Systems
- Photovoltaics and Solar Thermal
- Wind Energy Systems
- Fuel Cells Systems
- Bio-energy and Geo-energy
- Other Sustainable Energy Resources and System
- Energy Storage Systems
- Energy Market, Management and Economics
