05/03/2012 - First 3 wings for the REpower wind turbines have arrived at the port of Oostende

Yesterday night, the first three blades for the construction of the second phase of the offshore windfarm, managed by C-POWER, have arrived at the port of Oostende. Meanwhile, the next set of three wings are on their way, expected to arrive at the beginning of next week.
The wings have a length of 61,5meters and a weight of 18 841 each. They have been manufactured by the company LM Wind Power in Kolding, Denmark. The wings have been transported over the road from Denmark to the port of Oostende through Germany.
