02/02/2010 - New EUROCORES calls
EUROCORES staat voor ‘European Science Foundation Collaborative Research Programmes Scheme.´ Het is een subsidievorm van de European Science Foundation (ESF). Met dit instrument wil ESF multinationale samenwerking in Europa stimuleren. ESF telt 78 leden (Member Organisations) uit 30 landen: academies, onderzoeksorganisaties en onderzoeksfinanciers, waaronder Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (FWO).
Onderwerpen voor EUROCORES kunnen bij de ESF worden aangedragen door onderzoekers zelf, de leden, door ESF-commissies (standing Committees) of expertgroepen (Expert Groups). De ESF werkt een potentieel EUROCORES programma uit en legt deze voor, aan de aangesloten onderzoeksorganisaties. Zodra minimaal 4 organisaties uit 4 verschillende landen het voorstel goedkeuren, zet de ESF een Call for proposal voor onderzoekers uit.
ESF has published the Calls for Outline Proposals for 7 new EUROCORES Programmes. Below are the links to the individual Programme Websites where the Calls for Proposals as well as other supporting documents can be found.
In light of the short period of time when the calls are opened, it is crucial that these announcements are disseminated within the relevant scientific communities as widely as possible.
